Vans & Trucks

Using any vehicle over 3.5 ton on London roads requires you to have a Diesel Particulate Filter fitted and in working order to comply with Euro 4 emissions. To enable you to get the best legal use from your vehicle/s we offer a fast DPF cleaning service for your filters.

We carry out a twice-weekly pick-up and delivery service (Tuesdays & Thursdays) within the M25.

We clean most makes of filters, either Silicone Carbide or Active Cordite.

DPF Cleaning Process

The Cleaning Process

The cleaning process works by recording the maximum pressure caused by a blocked filter. The filter is then heated to 400dc allowing the unburnt soot to turn to ash. The filter is removed and placed in a pulse air system which will pressurise the top of the filter, removing all but the tiniest of particles allowing the filter to return to the manufacturers original specification.

The last step of the process is to check the maximum pressure of the cleaned filter, and a comparison is drawn between the two.

About Us

We are based in Horsham, West Sussex and work within the LLEZ London low emission zone. We specialise in DPF filter installations on trucks, coaches, vans and specialised vehicles. Our after sales offers a filter cleaning service to maintain the best operation of your vehicles we clean silicon carbide and active cordite filters. Most filter are cleaned best by using a high heat to burn the blocked filter deposits (ie soot and particulates), this process leaves ash and burnt soot which we then give a pulse cleaning cycle.

London Low Emission Zone (LLEZ)

London Low Emission ZoneThe Low Emission Zone (LEZ) was introduced in 2008 to encourage the most polluting heavy diesel vehicles driving in the Capital to become cleaner. The LEZ covers most of Greater London. To drive within it without paying a daily charge, these vehicles must meet certain emissions standards that limit the amount of particulate matter (a type of pollution) coming from their exhausts.
